Hapolopus sp “Colombia large” AKA the pumpkin patch tarantula is a dwarf tarantula species well suited for beginners.

Small size, dry tolerance, low venomosity and reluctance to bite make for a very easy to care for tarantula. While quite small, they are already very hardy at this size and in my experience grow quickly. Parents pictured.
