12 Blaberus giganteus (giant cave cockroach), mixed nymphs.

$50.00

The longest roach species in the Hobby, Blaberus giganteus earns it’s name as a giant. this species thrives with vertical space, damp substrate and good ventilation. They can be kept on a range of temperatures with a hot spot between the mid 80s and 95F° being ideal for breeding and fast growth.

The nymphs and adults both feed on on fruit and protein readily, some of their favorite being bananas, apples and fish pellets.

In their native range they can be found nesting in the hollows of trees and caves.

Adults are good climbers and can fly if kept above 90F°. Nymphs fortunately aren’t the most adept climbers of smooth surfaces and favor spending their time burrowed.

All in all I highly recommend this species for beginners and advanced keepers as they make for great display roaches while maintaining a hardy disposition.

Lag will only be offered on overnight shipping when temperatures are between 40F° and 95F°.
